Nové Rose is a brand of Maison Céleste, Breemstraat 92, 3650 Dilsen-Stokkem, Belgium (company number BE1008813262). We are responsible (the "controller") for the personal data described in this policy. For any question or request about your data, email us at hello@noverose.eu.
1. What we collect
- Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
- Order details: what you buy, return or exchange, how you paid and the status of your order. We never see or store your full card details; payments are handled by our payment providers.
- Account details: your login email, order history and saved addresses.
- Messages: what you send us by email or social media.
- Reviews you choose to write about our pieces.
- Website use: pages you view, items you add to your bag, your device, browser and IP address, collected through cookies (see section 6).
2. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To process and deliver your order, handle returns and exchanges, and manage your account — to perform our contract with you.
- To keep invoices and accounting records — because Belgian accounting and tax law requires it.
- To answer your questions — to perform our contract when it concerns an order, otherwise our legitimate interest in helping you.
- To send our newsletter and other marketing emails — with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email.
- To measure and improve our website, and to show you relevant advertising on other platforms — with your consent, given through the cookie settings.
- To prevent fraud and keep our store secure — our legitimate interest.
3. Who we share it with
We only share your data with parties that help us run our store, under agreements that protect it:
- Shopify — hosts our website and checkout and processes payments.
- Our payment providers, such as PayPal and Klarna, depending on how you choose to pay.
- Our delivery partners — to deliver your order and process returns.
- Klaviyo — sends our emails and collects product reviews.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — measures and shows our advertising, only if you accept marketing cookies.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Our relationship with Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal data to provide and improve its services. To help protect and grow our business, we use certain Shopify features that combine information about your interactions with our store with information from other merchants and from Shopify. For these features, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your data. Read more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy, and exercise your rights for this processing through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
5. Transfers outside Europe
Some of the providers above, such as Shopify, Klaviyo and Meta, may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In that case we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser saves when you visit our website. We use four kinds:
- Necessary — keep your bag, language, currency and checkout working, and keep the site secure. These are always on.
- Personalization — remember your choices for your next visit. Only with your consent.
- Analytics (Shopify analytics) — help us understand how the website is used. Only with your consent.
- Marketing (Meta, Klaviyo) — measure and personalize our advertising and emails. Only with your consent.
You make your choice on your first visit. You can change it at any time through Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page.
7. How long we keep it
- Orders and invoices: for as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.
- Your account: for as long as it exists. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Messages with us: for as long as we need them to help you and handle any follow-up.
- Cookies: for the duration set for each cookie, and never longer than your consent is valid.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at hello@noverose.eu; we reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be, or with the data protection authority in your own country.
9. Children
Our store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy, for example when we start using a new service. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
